Montana optics-related companies

Optics and photonics is a major component of the southwestern Montana economy. On a per-capita basis, Bozeman, Montana has one of the highest densities of optics companies found anywhere in the United States. Many of these companies were founded by Montana State University graduates, often through MSU technology transfer.
